As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Michael Kariuki Chege is responsible for all the company’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations. His career spans more than 11 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy.
Before joining Africa Healthcare Network, Michael served CFO for Mydawa Healthcare (Malta) & its subsidiaries in East Africa from a concept into a business focused on rapid growth as the first e-retail pharmacy in East Africa. Prior to that he was the Financial controller in Goodlife Pharmacy Kenya & Uganda where he managed to oversee growth from 4 stores to 40 stores in a span of 3 years.
He has also held senior-level positions in both investment, manufacturing, hospitality & commercial banking companies, including Enke group a conglomerate investment vehicle with assets worth $25billion.
Michael is a chartered accountant (ACCA) and has an bachelor of Commerce (Finance) for University of Nairobi.
