Clinical Leader
For patients with End-Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD), we offer industry-leading hemodialysis in our state-of-the-art centers. We operate six days per week (Monday – Saturday), with two or three dialysis shifts offered each day. Additionally, in coordination with our hospital partners, we provide emergency dialysis services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for patients with Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), ensuring patients have the life-saving treatment they need.
Unlike many dialysis centers in Africa that use old, refurbished machines, all AHN centers are outfitted with brand-new machines, reverse osmosis systems, and other top-of-the-line equipment imported from Japan, Europe, and the USA. Likewise, we import high quality medications including erythropoietin, iron sucrose, and heparin from the leading pharmaceutical companies, just as patients receive in the top dialysis centers globally.
We have implemented rigorous training programs and continuing medical education for AHN’s clinical staff, ensuring our team provides competent and empathetic care. While cross-infection is a major issue in most dialysis centres across Africa, at AHN, we never re-use dialyzers or bloodlines and have strict infection control and isolation protocols for patients with Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV. We take pride in delivering the best care, with strong SOPs across our units.
As a result, patients can feel comfortable at an AHN centre, knowing they are receiving the best possible care, leading to improved clinical outcomes and quality of life.
Africa Healthcare Network has established the first and largest dialysis chain across Sub-Saharan Africa, providing high-quality, life-saving dialysis at affordable cost.
AHN brings world-class technical expertise combined with developing world practical operating experience to a region in dire need of quality dialysis treatment.
